This workshop is perfect for medical and dental students, recent graduates, and early-career clinicians who want to start their research journey but don’t know where to begin. If you’re looking to strengthen your academic profile, understand the papers you read, or prepare for competitive residencies, Level 1 is your foundation.
Level 1 focuses on building your foundational skills so you can begin research independently and confidently. One-on-one mentorship for publication is offered in our advanced workshops (Meta-Analysis, CDC WONDER). Level 1 prepares you to qualify for and maximize the value of those mentored research programs.
Level 1 equips you to conceptualize research ideas and draft publication-ready work including Letters to the Editor, case reports, audits, and cross-sectional studies. You’ll understand the complete research lifecycle—from question to publication—and be prepared to advance to specialized training in systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Level 1 runs live on Zoom across two intensive days. Sessions are highly interactive with real-time exercises, Q&A, and practical applications—not passive lectures. You’ll be actively building skills alongside your cohort.
